“On a Saturday evening this past May, I was making my way from Montreal to Lockport, NY, on I-90 when the tire of my car flew off (recent tire change wasn't performed properly). [Side note: Fortunately, no one around me was hurt (tire flew across the median and onto the other side of the highway, but there was no oncoming traffic at that moment). I was able to keep control of the car and guide it over to the breakdown lane where it eventually came to a stop.] The tow truck company made some calls to try to find a place that was open on Sundays, so that's how I ended up at Bowen's Sunoco. They were kind and reassuring when I arrived, as I was still a little shaken. I came back on Sunday, and they explained the damage, what repairs would be needed, and reassured me that they would do a full review of the car before putting me back on the road. As soon as they had the parts they needed, they prioritized the car on Monday morning so that I could get back to Montreal as soon as possible. More importantly, they showed me exactly what they were fixing and made me feel comfortable about getting back in the car. And the cost was reasonable. I am very grateful that my car ended up at Bowen's Sunoco.”
